Iglu Village, KuhtaiTo marry - only in winter - with guaranteed snow - is to arrange a wedding in Kühtai, Tirol, using the IGLU VILLAGE where the wedding room will accommodate 30 to 40 guests, or an 'alm hut' - Graf Ferdinand - which is possible for non-skiers to reach on foot, or the bridal party could take a taxi up the road that leads to the hut. The legal ceremony is handled by the Registrar for Silz and these places are the only wedding venues outside of their own office.

Champagne reception or similar to follow the ceremony, could be held in the Iglu Village or Almhut Graf Ferdinand, whilst the wedding gala dinner and celebrations could be in the Jagdschloss owned by Count Stolberg! There is plenty of hotel accommodation in Kühtai in winter, some of which may be bookable as part of a Tour Operator package, providing flights, transfers and accommodation cheaper than buying each seperately. Temporary residence in Kühtai is not essential, though it is recommended that the wedding couple should be resident there for at least the night before the ceremony. In the extremely unlikely event of the road to Kühtai being blocked by snow, the ceremony would need to be transferred to the small town of Silz in the Inn Valley. Our wedding planner for Kühtai is Carole Prantner, who lives in Tanneben, a little hamlet, lower down the mountain.
