MondseeMONDSEE in Salzkammergut. The home of "Sound of Music" and the church in which the final wedding scenes take place! A catholic bridal mass can be arranged in the Church of Mondsee, but the civil ceremony, which all couples must first have in Austria, is held in the Princes Room of the Mondsee Palace next door to the 'Sound of Music Church'. A non-denominational 'blessing' ceremony may follow on in this palace if required.

Wedding flowers are arranged, horse and carriage ride through the countryside in a decorated carriage is available and music for the ceremony is provided. Photography may be organised to your choice, together with video service if required. Pictures can also be taken in the church where Maria was married to Baron von Trapp in the movie. Possibility of a boat trip on the lake following the ceremony, which may be combined with a sparkling wine reception, and the wedding evening gala dinner will be arranged in a choice of hotels or restaurants according to numbers. This venue is suitable for any number of persons however few or however many.

Accommodation available in Mondsee or it is possible to stay in Salzburg with transfers provided - limousine for the couple, of course! Our friend and colleague, Ingrid Eibl, personally handles every aspect of the wedding, from documentation to accommodation, through to the evening festivities, and is present throughout the day to assist and guide you as required and to ensure that your guests, like you, have a memorable time. For those whose dream is to get married in Austria, this must be an automatic first choice at all times of the year.
